Services at Trinity.

We meet at 10 o'clock every Sunday morning for worship. We are currently without a full-time minister, although we still have our non-stipendiary Minister, the Revd Meryl Court; who leads one service each month. On the one of the other Sundays she is normally to be found at Bricket Wood URC, the other church for which she has pastoral concern. Whilst we are without a full-time Minister, our Interim Moderator, the Revd Ray Adams has pastoral oversight of the church, and he leads some of our services. On the other Sundays the service is led either by a visiting minister or by a team of people from within Trinity.

On the first Sunday of the month we celebrate Holy Communion which everyone, young and old, regulars and visitors are invited to share with us.

We are proud of our slightly unusual format for worship. We meet at 10 for a worship session, which on the first Sunday of the month will include Communion. This will normally finish at about
10:30 when we share news and notices then break for coffee and chat. At 11 o'clock a short song signals that we reassemble for a learning session: this may be a sermon, possibly followed by a general discussion on the points raised, or may be a time of discussion in small groups. This session finishes at about 11:30. The Young People have their own learning time from 11 o'clock onwards upstairs in the Internet Cafe, where they follow the theme in their group. There is a crèche for the very young. People are welcome to come for either or both sessions.

Worship planning is done initially in group Bible Study sessions one per month (as advertised in the
church diary) and everyone is invited to attend.
